Every cigarette is doing you damage
It’s not just a risk—it’s a certainty that smoking will damage your health.
A woman is smoking in her backyard while her children play inside the house. As she inhales, we follow the smoke down her trachea. We see a brain being placed on a surgical table. A voiceover explains that smoking creates blood clots. Gloved hands slice the brain, exposing damaged brain tissue that oozes out. The woman exhales.
VO: Every cigarette is doing you damage. Smoking creates blood clots, which can cause strokes. Some strokes kill, blind or paralyze; others you don’t even know you’re having. This is the result of a minor stroke in a smoker—aged 38.
